The beauty of everyday moments
I know that being in front of a camera can sometimes feel intimidating, especially for families with little kids. That’s why I put a lot of care into creating an experience that feels relaxed from the very beginning. Before your session, I’ll guide you through everything you need to prepare, from outfit suggestions to location ideas and what to expect during our time together. I will have you fill out a little questionnaire tailored to your specific session to get to know you and your family beforehand! During the session itself, there’s no pressure for anyone to pose or behave perfectly. We’ll take things slowly, follow your family’s rhythm, play music, bring snacks or toys if needed, and create space for everyone to simply enjoy being together.

Planning your session
Send me a message via my contact page so we confirm a date and time for your session, and discuss the details. From there, we’ll pick a location that works best, you will fill out a questionnaire to help me learn more about you, your family, and what you want! We will work as a team to plan the session you are dreaming of from the moment you inquire, to the day of your session.
Session day
I recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to account for parking, walking to our start point, and being able to take our time before getting started. It will be a fun, easy, and lovely day, I promise! We will take our time, and make sure everyone and everything feels comfortable and true to you.
Final Galleries
One to two weeks after the session you’ll receive an email from me with an invitation to view your photos in a private beautiful online gallery. I will also send you a password, PIN code and instructions to use for viewing and downloading the photos.
What to do With Your Photos
If you want to print your photos, you’ll have full access as soon as your online gallery is complete! You will be able to order all types of prints, wall art, greeting cards, or create a full family album. Please see my FAQ with regards to how I handle client privacy when sharing photos!

There’s space for kids to play, couples to connect, and moments to unfold without rushing. I am mom, so trust me, I can sense when we need to slow the pace, or move faster to make sure everyone is taken care of!

I’ll guide you throughout the session in a way that feels natural and comfortable, without making anything feel too posed. If you want extra guidance with posing, let me know! I am here to make this as stress free as possible.

All the small moments you’ll cherish dearly years from now, will be captured on camera - the laughter, the warmth, the hugs, I am there to capture you and your family exactly as you are, chaos, silliness and all!

What do we wear?
Think neutral, soft, and comfortable. Earth tones, creams, soft blues, muted pastels all photograph beautifully. Light layers and textures (knits, linen, denim) are great as well! You don’t need to match — coordinating tones photograph beautifully. When in doubt, simple always wins!
What is your booking process like?
Here is the simplified version! First, fill out my contact form so I can get a brief understanding what you are looking for. Then we chat about the specifics to plan a session that reflects your family uniquely. Once everyone feels good about moving forward, we set a date, sign a contract, and submit a 50% non-refundable deposit to lock in your session. From there, the real fun begins with my special detailed planning process! I am with you from beginning to end to make sure your experience is exactly as you envision!
How do you handle sharing our photographs? Do you have a privacy policy?
Your family’s privacy matters to me, and you will always have a choice about how your photographs are shared. As part of the booking process, you’ll choose whether you’d like me to use recognizable photographs of your family for my website and social media, allow limited sharing of images where children’s faces aren’t recognizable, or keep your session completely private. Sharing your photographs is completely optional. I’ll ask you to make your preference during the booking process so I know how you’d like your images handled before I share anything publicly.

What if my kids are having a hard time?
Totally normal — and expected. I’ll guide things gently and work with whatever energy your kids bring! Real moments over perfect behavior. Your family should be captured as you are in this season of life, and that's what I am there for :)
How many photos will I get?
The short answer? I have no idea. I don’t stop editing when I hit a certain number. If it’s a good image, you’re getting it. I’d rather focus on giving you the best gallery possible. When you book with me, you’re not paying per photo you’re paying for the experience, the memories, and the time spent making your images beautiful. The bonus photos? They’re just my way of saying thank you for choosing me.
Do you offer extended family sessions?
YES! I absolutely love them! Because there are larger numbers of people included, they tend to be a bigger, more strategically planned session, so the pricing varies from my core session options. Please don't hesitate to reach out and see what we can dream up together to preserve the few times you have everyone all together!
What happens if the weather is bad?
Weather is weather, and it changes pretty quickly in Colorado! I try to be super flexible, and sometimes we cannot predict what happens the day of your session. If we need to reschedule, I will be very communicative leading up to your session and the day of to come up with a plan! My policy around this is meant to be as understanding as possible. We will find a solution!
How do we pick the location?
When you book your session, you will get a location guide with my tried and true spots! I would love your input to choose what matches the vision you have, and I am always open to hearing if there is a place you have in mind because it matters to you! We can make the decision together!
Can we bring pets?
YES! Please do!! They are very much a part of the family and deserve their moments too!
What happens if we need to reschedule?
Totally understandable! Weather, Illness, Emergencies, LIFE HAPPENS--and that is okay! If you need to reschedule your session, please reach out as soon as possible so I can work with you to find a new date and time. For outdoor sessions, I will also keep an eye on the forecast and will never ask you to show up in conditions that aren't safe. My goal is always to make the experience relaxed, flexible and enjoyable for your family!
